Life As We Know It ...♥.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸.ஐ

D&C 61:36  "And now, verily I say unto you, and what I say unto one I say unto all, be of good cheer, little children; for I am in your midst, and I have not forsaken you;
☺
This scripture reminds me of how important it is to look at the good in life and to remember that there are so many blessings all around us. If we become like little children, seeing the joy in every new day, we will be more able to notice the blessings all around us and the hand of our loving Father in Heaven in our lives. Bryce and I have been very blessed to have been able to find each other and live in this time and place. Living in a free country is a wonderful blessing, and we're grateful to be able to get an education, belong to the religion of our choice, and have the opportunities to work and be who we are. Bryce recently got the part-time teaching seminary job. What a wonderful blessing! He worked hard to get it and is preparing for the next school year. We'll find out after a year if he will be hired to teach full time.
❀ Life is full of happy surprises :) ❀
In the Spring semester, both Bryce and I were going to college full time and adjusting to the new changes. It's been good to learn about budgeting and keeping track of expenses, buying groceries, cleaning house, and creating new meals :) We love to cook up new things and we're excited to expand our cooking repertoire. We're learning and growing a lot together, and we're excited for all the many things that we get to experience together throughout our life and eternity.   :)

Living the gospel of Jesus Christ, together, is what gives us the most joy, because it brings to light the truths and promises that will help us in this life and for all eternity. We're grateful for the gospel truth... that if we are living the best we can and keeping our covenants, we can be with our families forever. Life has struggles and some mountains that seem impossible to climb, but there is so much joy in living and living for something good. :) ♫
No one is perfect, and no one's life is flawless or easy, but there is joy in living. We can overcome trials and "tall mountains" by persevering and helping each other along. There is happiness in caring about others, and feeling that they care about you in return. There is hope in knowing that there is life after death and joy in being with the ones you love forever. There will always be blessings all around us, we just have to open our eyes :)
