Hey! So we're trying to get our little business out there. Here's the website, http://livehappymemories.weebly.com/
In a nutshell, we transfer home videos to the computer... the files can then be put on DVD, USB, or external hard drives for safe & organized storage. (Equipment for video transferring and video editing are used.) We can also scan all of those old pictures you have sitting around. (We just use a simple scanner, but hey somebody's got to do it if you want the pictures to be saved digitally. We'd love to help.)
We also like to make special-event-movies. For instance.... MOTHER'S day and FATHER'S day are coming up. We can put your pictures and videos into a movie with the music that you choose. Movies are an easy way to save and share memories with your loved ones. We've decided to make one each year around New Year's Eve of our own family's pictures and videos. We have fun watching memories from the previous years together. Everyone has a camera these days, but are you saving and sharing the pictures/memories that you capture? Share 'em with loved ones like a boss! We have example videos, if you want to see some, let me know. Annnnnnnd...if you're at all interested, you can contact us through our mini website, or you can email us directly at skeltonpictures (at) gmail.com.

Finals Week
What in the world am I doing blogging during finals week. Well, surprisingly... I'm all done with my finals for this semester. I would go into detail about how much we don't enjoy finals week but it would be boring, so to sum up... we enjoy school, but by the end of a semester we kind of feel like...
On the flip-side, I feel very grateful to have been able to be in college for as long as I have. I'm retiring from school for now;) because silly ol' fafsa didn't offer me grants this year to help out with tuition. School is too expensive without the financial help, so all in good time hopefully I'll be able to finish my degree someday. It's interesting how things work out because this past semester I've been thinking about how I would maybe like to change my major and possibly take a break from school so that I could start paying off my school loan debt. I couldn't make up my mind, so I applied for a scholarship to see if I could try and go full time next semester... but I didn't get it. Then USU decided to lower tuition for online students, so I thought if I could get a grant, I would for sure do school in the fall. Well, no financial aid for me except more loan debt, so I feel that it's a blessing that I wasn't completely set on doing school in the fall because it's not really an option now. College is a lot of fun and I'll be forever grateful for the education that I've received, especially since Bryce and I met in college haha stay in school.
Also I wanted to add something exciting! Guess what? Nope, we're not expecting you to guess. Bryce was able to get a summer scholarship this year to help out a little financially. Also he will be able to get more classes done so that he can graduate earlier. Yay! I'm so proud of him, he definitely deserves it because he whups out A's like nobody's business. That sentence is questionable but hopefully you know what I mean. Hahaha. Bryce works so hard and is such a smart guy, I learn a lot from him. Master degrees don't receive grants from fafsa, so it's pretty much loans and debt for now. We're excited for Bryce to get done with school and to someday be debt free!! Sounds like a dream. I am going to eat a giant bowl of fettuccine alfredo the day we pay off our school debt, because by then I might be oldish and trying not to eat as much pasta or whatever...not really. Haha but yeah, carbs all around, they're delicioso. Overall, life is good and we're grateful for what we have. Sometimes life kicks us in the butt though. It's amazing sometimes to look back and wonder how you got through certain things. We are grateful for the Lord's guidance, because we know we couldn't do it without Him. He really is there for each of us. Each person is struggling with something, I hope you know that you're loved and not forgotten. God knows and loves you.

Because of Him
Beautiful depiction of the meaning of Easter.
Because of Him, we are. The Lord lived, suffered, died, and was resurrected. He lives. He knows how to succor us in our times of need and is always there. We are all God's children, and He loves each person individually. Because of Him, we can repent and be forgiven for past mistakes. Because of Him, we can be with our families forever. I'm so grateful for the Savior and for the hope that we can have forever because of Him. I'm so grateful for my sweet husband Bryce and for all that he does for me, and I'm grateful that families are forever. Life is good, it isn't always easy, but it's worth it because we have a Father and Savior that love us unconditionally. (If you want to learn more, you can visit easter.mormon.org or lds.org --they are official websites of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.) Happy Easter to you! Love, Us

General Conference 4/2014
This past weekend was a lot of fun. We got to watch General Conference, spend time with family, and play a lot of games and such. We also found some pretty flowers in our itty-bitty backyard... SPRING!!
I really liked the message from Pres. Uchtdorf in General Conference. All of the messages are on lds.org already :O ... if you want to, you can look them up here... General Conference April 2014.
A great quote from President Uchtdorf, "In light of what we know about our eternal destiny, is it any wonder that whenever we face the bitter endings of life, they seem unacceptable to us? There seems to be something inside of us that resists endings. Why is this? Because we are made of the stuff of eternity. We are eternal beings, children of the Almighty God, whose name is Endless and who promises eternal blessings without number. Endings are not our destiny. The more we learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ, the more we realize that endings here in mortality are not endings at all. They are merely interruptions—temporary pauses that one day will seem small compared to the eternal joy awaiting the faithful. How grateful I am to my Heavenly Father that in His plan there are no true endings, only everlasting beginnings."

I know that the messages and insights shared in this meeting are messages inspired by God. Each person prepares their message individually with the guidance of the Spirit. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and wonderful and the gospel of Jesus Christ is full of hope, forgiveness, love, eternal promises, family, and joy. I'm grateful for the Savior's love for each of us, He knows us all by name and we can rely on Him. -Love, Us

Spring!
Crazy weather lately. It'll get pretty warm outside and then the next day... it'll snow, hail, wind, and rain. I guess it's pretty fun though... the hail looked like dippin' dots haha
Road trip :)
It's a bit warmer there ;)
(Cool Jbz at Jumpin' Jacks. And... Settlers of Catan, it's Aubree's game but I forgot to get a picture when we all first played it. Fun game!)
Aubree! Skillllls. (Also, Aubree showed us the youtube video "Guy On a Buffalo" ... hilarious.)
Tennis & swimming. Bryce is cute :) Oh, and our lovely towel hair picture hahah
Bryce going "fishing" ;}
Amazing people.
Beep beep!
Jbz did an awesome slow-motion jump!
A couple of weekends ago... pictures and videos of my dad and stepmom. We played apples to apples with them and with our stepsister Bridgette, and with Grandma Mills. It was a lot of fun :)
Also, we got to spend time with them this past weekend as well. I didn't have my camera on me, but it was a lot of fun to see them!
St. George is great :) but we're always excited to travel back home too. Yay for mini-vacations!
And... a couple random pictures of some cheap-ish curtains we found. Yay!
We're excited for General Conference this weekend. (It's an LDS/Mormon gathering where everyone is able to hear from church leaders and the Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. We believe that there are living Prophets and Apostles on the earth today. Listen or watch on lds.org or mormonchannel.org. There are several sessions on Saturday and Sunday, but all of the messages will be on those websites after as well :) it's a great way to receive personal insights. God loves you.)
