I love this song, ThePianoGuys did an amazing job. :] Other versions that are good: by The Civil Wars and by Barlowgirl -- Check those out too if you have some time. The words are inspiring, I hope you always remember the love that Christ has for you. We all need a reminder sometimes, because the love He has for us is real, He gave everything so that we could live and be with our families forever. This song is a good reminder of why we celebrate Christmas. :) it's all about Christ and His love. In what ways can we show our love for Him? Merry Christmas! Love, Us

Oh yeah!
Hello whoever reads this! (The few, the proud. HaHa! Jk.) I thought I'd update our blog for those of you that read it... ???? and for our own sake, to remember what was going on around today! Not much is new, we don't have children yet, that's probably the reason for the lack of posts...so and so did this and it was super adorable, so and so did this and it drove me crazy, so and so accomplished this... so and so is this tall now... so and so walked! Yeah, someday haha. And the so and so will be replaced with a perty little name.. probably. {I've learned something important that I thought I would share though; every couple has different circumstances and it is good to remember that everyone is fighting their own battle. No matter how we see it, they deserve love and support.}
Anyway, the scoop. Bryce- my sweet handsome hunk husband- is working and going to school right now. We're doing the seminary student-teaching thing still (and boy have we had to learn patience like never before) & he is getting his Masters degree through SUU and is completely incredible to be able to do both. I look up to him. Bryce is always trying to have a good attitude, and I think that is one of the things about him that I fell in love with when we met. No matter what is going on in his life, he is always trying to help others and keep a happy attitude. I'm going to school online to get my Bachelors degree through USU... (GO USU! They kicked butt this year in football, I've never been to Logan, but hey I can still cheer for my school team.) Speaking of football, we love it. We've been watching a lot of it and I think we're about ready to play for the NFL. Hahah. It's about time for hockey season too, let's hope the Philadelphia Flyers do well this year!
Yeeeah... so here are a few random facts.
Textbooks cost too much. Pinterest is a good place for a laugh. ( Funny things.)
Hawaiian haystacks are magnificent. The church is true.
You're either bugged by that last one, somewhat bugged/agreeable, or agree
That's ok Somebody is thinking about you right now.
(YOU are) hahaha jk somebody probably really is.
And now you might be thinking of someone you hope is thinking about you
This is getting too deep.
Blue is the most lovely color, and orange ;)
Sunsets are our favorite color, isn't that just romantic. hahah Pick your favorite word.
Fact. Oh that reminds me, Kid History --->Laugh yourself silly.
It's almost been 2 years since we got married :) and the best 2 years. Woo!
Alright this post is getting too lengthy, have a happy day! Merry Christmas season to everyone!

There's A Place For Us
Music Video for Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This song is awesome. It's played in the credits for the movie and both the movie and the song have a lot of symbolism.
(Carrie Underwood: There's A Place For Us.)
(Carrie Underwood: There's A Place For Us.)
This movie has one of the coolest scenes ever, near the end... the actors are in a little boat rowing towards an island... and floating on top of the water are hundreds maybe thousands of white lilies!! It's gorgeous and awesome. Good movie.

An Skelton Films... eh
We know the videos we make are silly, but you should try it sometime! Building memories with family and being silly with those you love is priceless. Sometimes life gets too serious and calls for your inner-child to come out, just relax and play and let go of your worries sometimes! Making videos isn't for everyone, but other things that are unique to your family could build relationships and make memories that you'll remember forever. No but really, take time to play. It's good for you :) Love, Us

Happiness of the Summerness
We love Summer. Here's a crazy picture collage of some of the things we've been able to do this Summer so far. (Generally we take our camera out when there's a birthday party so that's what most of these pictures are. Plus, my dad and step-mom had a party for my step-brother TJ, because he left for his mission recently. Here's a bunch of pictures from stuff like that.) Oh and happy 4th of July and 24th of July!!
And Aubree got married in May, we're so excited for her and Karson and their new life together! It was fun to see family and celebrate Aubree and Karson's wedding day!

We love our awesome families.
Here's another video we've made. This one was for my dad & step-mom, they were married in 2010 in Hawaii :) they waited a long time to find each other and we're so glad they're happy. This movie is about our awesome step-family.

We love to make videos.
Just another video that we've made :) this one was for Bryce's parents' anniversary. We wanted it to be authentic to the Skelton culture... and this movie might just do the trick :) Happy 32 anniversary Pete & Aeme!
(P.S- the link may want you to watch the video on youtube.)

Bryce's graduation
Bryce graduated in May with his BA degree and I'm so proud of him!! He has done so much hw/research/writing for all of his classes and definitely deserves some recognition for his hard work.

He amazes me with his strengths and determination to accomplish what he sets his mind to. We aren't completely sure what we're doing for careers etc etc etc.... etc, but he wants to get his Master's degree so that's our next step. We're excited to see where our road leads us together. We're also so proud of his Mom, Aeme! She also graduated in May and has accomplished so much. They both got to be recognized for their wonderful efforts and good grades with the awesome yellow cords etc haha... aka "yellow things." Here are a bunch of pictures from May 4, the day Bryce and Aeme graduated, YAY! We're grateful that our families came, we are so blessed to have such wonderful family!

Great job Bryce!! You are my hero! :]

Februaryish
So for Spring Break... we decided to take a road trip with Bryce's younger brother Tyler. We packed up the car, made some delicious sandwiches, and road tripped to... Pine Valley! Woo! While we were there- Tyler cast his line into the... frozen water... and we also found some snow. Oh yeah, we spent a good 20 minutes throwing rocks into the lake and filming it in slow-mo. The most fun part had to have been when we heard big-foot... I mean a fly-fisherman calling to big-foot in his native tongue. (Which we didn't realize any human could do.) Good thing there weren't a ton of people fishing at the frozen lake because we about peed our pants. Just kidding... Anyway, the weather in Pine Valley was way nice. Also near February, we moved into a cute little apartment and we love it! Here's a few pictures of February/March.
And that's the gist for February/Marchish.

Sincerely...Us.

Travis & Myriam's Wedding --- December 20, 2011
Bryce's brother got married last month up in Salt Lake. We were excited to go to Travis' and Myriam's sealing at the Salt Lake Temple and then to be able to attend their wonderful reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. They're a cute couple. Here are some pictures of that exciting day...

The Tonettes
This movie isn't finished, but we thought we'd post what we have already. It's our rendition of a dance-crew with a bright new idea. . . hahah just for fun.

More yummies.
[Random food that tastes really good.]
It's hard to tell, but this is Oreo/Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream pie. It's delicious. . . . An Oreo pie crust drizzled with caramel and topped with frozen delight (also known as Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream yum). Then to top it all off, fluffy whip cream with more caramel drizzles and crumbled Oreo on top.

Easy-to-make and yummy pasta salad with fresh Italian dressing.
And the delicious hamburgers that Bryce makes! It's what you mix in with the meat that makes it very tasty
Just some ideas if you like to try new recipes.
